226 Adelaide Terrace, Perth WA

Strategically located at the eastern end of the Perth CBD, 226 Adelaide Terrace is at the nexus of a busy office and hotel precinct.

The building consists of office space, basement carparks, a cafe, retail tenancies, child care centre and a tenant gymnasium.

Due to the location of sub-basement areas up to 10 metres below ground level and 2 metres below the water table, a water-tight concrete structure was deemed paramount to ensure successful completion of the project.

Approximately 3200 m3 of Xypex Admix C-1000NF was dosed into the concrete for the basement areas, to provide an impermeable barrier for the penetration of moisture from the surrounding water table. Additionally, Kuniseal C-31DS & Xypex Concentrate were selected as the preferred system  the floor & wall joints.
